Gibbs Elementary, located at 1320 Gibbs Ave NE in Canton, Ohio, serves 366 students in Grades K through 3 with a dedicated staff of 58 educators committed to fostering academic success and personal growth.

At Gibbs, we achieve excellence by encouraging students to be their best, arrive on time, and come prepared to learn each day. We recognize hard work and positive behavior through our Star Student Awards and celebrate students and families who achieve perfect attendance each month.

We promote leadership by empowering students through programs such as Fierce Females, Girls with Pearls, and Guys with Ties. Students who demonstrate strong leadership skills can earn Bulldog Bucks to access special privileges and prizes, including the opportunity to serve as Principal or Cafeteria Manager for the day.

We value community and are proud to collaborate with Feed Kids First, Canton For All People, Marathon Oil, SPARK, and other local organizations to support student success.

Gibbs Elementary offers a variety of extracurricular activities and after-school programs, including YMCA on the Fly, TKO Steppers, engaging field trips, and inspiring guest speakers.
