Paralee Compton Watkins Learning Center @ Gibbs (CLC@Gibbs) provides students with a supportive, structured learning environment designed to meet their individual academic, social, and personal needs. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience success.

Through personalized support, clear expectations, and meaningful relationships, our staff works alongside students to help them make academic progress, develop positive skills and behaviors, build confidence, and prepare for their next step.

At CLC@Gibbs, We Offer Three Programs:

Teaching and Resiliency-Based Program (TREC)
TREC provides a safe, supportive, and relationship-centered environment where students can build resilience, develop confidence, and experience success. Students will:

• Receive individualized instruction and personalized support.
• Build on their strengths and develop resilience and confidence.
• Develop positive relationships with caring adults and peers.
• Strengthen self-regulation, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Participate in academics, social-emotional learning, counseling, and enrichment opportunities.
• Apply newly developed skills at school, at home, and in the community.
• Develop the skills needed for successful transitions to school, work, and life.

Choices Middle School
Choices Middle School provides students in Grades 7–8 with a structured and supportive learning environment where they can continue making academic progress while developing the skills necessary for success. Students receive individualized support, clear expectations, and opportunities to build independence and responsibility.

Our goal is to prepare students for a successful transition to Choices High School.

Passages
Passages provides students with a structured, supportive learning environment where they can continue their academic progress while receiving the behavioral, social-emotional, and personal support they need to be successful.

Students are given the opportunity to reflect, learn new skills, strengthen positive behaviors, and work toward a successful return to their home school.
